ดูหนังออนไลน์ Little Shop of Horrors (1986) มันมาแปลกๆ หนังเรื่องนี้เคยสร้างมาแล้วรอบนึงในปี 1960 เป็นหนังสยองผสมตลกครับ อันนั้นทำโดย Roger Corman เจ้าพ่อหนังสยองเกรดบีในตำนาน ซึ่งตัวหนังฉบับนั้นก็ไม่ได้ดังปังตั้งแต่แรก แต่มันค่อยๆ เก็บเล็กผสมน้อย ดังแบบค่อยเป็นค่อยไป ก่อนจะกลายมาเป็นตำนานอีกบทของวงการหนังเกรดบี

และพอมาถึงยุค 80 ก็มีคู่หูนักเพลงอย่าง Alan Menken และ Howard Ashman นำเอาหนังเรื่องนี้ไปดัดแปลงเป็นละครเพลงครับ ผลที่ได้ก็คือความสำเร็จแบบถล่มทลายครับ เพราะเปิดการแสดงติดต่อกันถึง 5 ปี ทำเงินไปมหาศาล และติดอันดับ “ละครเพลงที่เปิดการแสดงนานที่สุด” เป็นอันดับ 3

ด้วยความดังแบบหยุดไม่อยู่ของมันทำให้ David Geffen (ซึ่งร่วมอำนวยการสร้างฉบับละครเพลงด้วย) สนใจจะเอามาทำเป็นหนังใหญ่ครับ โดยทาบทามให้ Steven Spielberg มาร่วมอำนวยการสร้าง พร้อมทั้งเชิญให้ Martin Scorsese มารับหน้าที่กำกับ ซึ่ง Scorsese เองก็สนใจครับ และเขาตั้งใจจะทำมันออกมาเป็นแบบ 3D ด้วย
