The Sentimental Swordsman (1977) ศึกยุทธจักรหงส์บิน เนื้อเรื่องในช่วงต้นก็คล้ายๆกับบทประพันธ์ครับ คือลี้คิมฮวง(ตี้หลุง) เดินทางกลับมาบ้าน ระหว่างทางได้พบกับอาฮุย(เอ๋อตงเซิน) มือกระบี่ผู้โดดเดี่ยวและคบหาเป็นสหายกัน เมื่อลี้คิมฮวงกลับมาบ้านก็ได้พบกับ เล้งโซ่วฮุ้น(เยี่ยหัว) สหายรุ่นพี่ซึ่งแต่งงานกับลิ่มเซียนยี้(ชิงหลี่) คนรักเก่าของลี้คิมฮวงที่เขายกให้เล้งโซ่วฮุ้นด้วยความซาบซึ้งในน้ำมิตร แต่ระหว่างนั้นก็ได้มีการปรากฏตัวของ โจรดอกเหมย ก่อความวุ่นวายขึ้นจนชาวยุทธต้องบาดเจ็บล้มตายไม่น้อย ลี้คิมฮวงจึงต้องตามสืบหาตัวจริงของโจรดอกเหมยมาลงโทษให้จงได้ เนื้อเรื่องในครึ่งหลังถือว่าเปลี่ยนแปลงไปพอสมควร ทั้งการออกเดินทางของชาวยุทธ และเหตุผลในการกระทำของโจรดอกเหมย ตัวหนังก็ต้องปรับความเฉียบขาดของการต่อสู้จากบทประพันธ์ให้เป็นการดวลกันอย่างยาวนาน สำหรับคนที่ไม่เคยอ่านนิยายมาก่อน จะรู้สึกว่าสนุกมากๆ แต่คนที่ยึดตามนิยาย หรือชื่นชอบนิยายมากอยู่แล้วก็อาจจะไม่ชอบเท่าไหร่ ซึ่งก็คงต้องพิสูจน์ด้วยตัวเองครับ แต่สำหรับเสียงตอบรับตอนออกฉาย ก็อยู่ในเกณฑ์ดีพอสมควร

One such lass is the beautiful Ai-nu, who manages to fight her way out of getting gang raped by Chun’s minion. When she is recaptured, she promptly kills one of her first customers. Ai-nu’s spunk intrigues Chun, prompting her to not only cover up the lass’ crime but also seduce her as well. Detective Ling Yun (Alex Man Chi-leung) soon suspects something is amiss and begins investigating Chun’s brothel over the objections of his superiors.
